It's reported that South Korean steel giant Posco said that South Korea's sales volumes of stainless steel is expected to rise in August, supported by improved demand and reduced supply.

Posco said that the South Korean stainless consumers will purchase for stockpile after the summer vacation.

However, some industry insiders do think the South Korean stainless steel market would get improved in August as they believed that the end users would not return to market at this moment.

At the same time, Posco predicted that the nickel will remain weak in the third quarter.
